This summer something beautiful happened... LIFE! Another precious new beginnings baby was born to one of the awesome Mamas we get to serve. Keianna Rose was born at the very end of May. Here at new beginnings we get to celebrate new life more often than your average home, and we LOVE it!! I (Hannah-New Beginnings Staff Assistant) had the privilege of attending this birth as a support person and photographer! It is so special to get to be a part of a birth, its by far the most amazing and beautiful thing I have ever gotten to witness. This particular birth was a doozy! When we got to the hospital mama was already in pretty active labor, it seemed like she almost skipped early labor. Once we were admitted we ended up finding out that this mama had preeclampsia, which can be pretty scary. Thankfully the awesome medical staff at St. Jo's found it early enough that it was able to be treated and didn't cause too many problems. This mama only labored for about 5 hours total, God orchestrated everything so perfectly. She gave about 5 good pushes and out came a beautiful baby girl. Keianna is perfect in every way, hand made and loved by God. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and had a gorgeous head of curly black hair. We stayed in the hospital for a few more days (extra monitoring is required with preeclampsia), but mama and baby were recovering beautifully and we got to go home! A huge shout out to two awesome women, Christina and Michelle. These women are 2 doulas who volunteer with new beginnings and offer their birth services free of charge to the women of new beginnings. They are incredible and we are so grateful for their generous hearts to serve the women of new beginnings. Even though we at new beginnings get to celebrate birth often, we never get tired of it. Getting to meet a brand new person perfectly knit by the Father is such a gift! I pray that we never grow numb to the miracle of life. That each and every birth we get to celebrate is another reminder of what an amazing Creator we get to worship. What a blessing. Enjoy some pictures of the newest NBH baby!

You are LOVED and there is HOPE
YOU ARE LOVED AND THERE IS HOPE
This is the theme of our 36th annual New Beginnings banquet. So WHY did we choose this theme?
Because this is the TRUTH for each and everyone of the gals that come through our program. We know that every New Beginnings resident is preciously loved by Father God. He loves them and their little ones so dearly (wether they know it or not), and we long to be the hands and feet of the Father to these women through our family centered ministry.
We also believe that there is a tremendous amount of hope for the women of New Beginnings. They all were intricately designed by our creator with beautiful qualities that make them totally unique, they have so many talents and were created for a specific purpose. There is hope of a beautiful future and a restored past. Our God is a God of restoration and healing and HOPE, isn't that amazing?!
Although the title of our ministry, "New Beginnings", was designed to reflect what we hope for our residents, I find myself discovering new beginnings here all the time. I came into this ministry wanting to let the Lord use me to bless others, but through that process He has graciously blessed me more than I ever could have imagined. How amazing that he wants to pour out blessing on us just because he loves us!
We really hope you will join us for our banquet this year. It will be a beautiful time of reflecting on all the ways God has shown his love and given his hope through New Beginnings this past year. We are excited to share so many stories and testimonies of the amazing things God is doing in and through our ministry. We are truly blessed to be a blessing.

We have two BIG needs right now to make this banquet possible.
1) We need table HOSTS
As a table host all you have to do is invite your friends/family! Table hosts do not pay anything for themselves or guest, all you do is fill a table with 8 people (yourself included). We will give you invitations and all that you need to easily invite your friends to join you in learning about New Beginnings Homes.
2) We need table and corporate SPONSORS
As a table sponsor you are paying to sponsor the cost of one table. The cost is $400. You do not need to fill the table with guests, you are just providing the opportunity for more people to come hear about New Beginning Homes!
As a corporate sponsor you are helping support the New Beginnings Banquet as a whole. Corporate sponsorships start at $1000 and go up to $5000. This is a great way for your business to sew into the community!

A Blessing Shower
Here at New Beginnings we get to work with both gals who are placing for adoption and gals who are parenting. One of the very special things that we get to be a part of is blessing showers! For those who might not be familiar with a blessing shower, it is similar to a baby shower BUT its for women who are making a plan for adoption. So the adoptive family throw this blessing shower for the birth mother. The adoptive family and all their friends surround the birth mother to celebrate her, give her gifts, pray over her, and speak life and truth and hope into her life. It is a very special time and something we feel so blessed to be a part of. A few weeks ago we got to host a blessing shower for one of our residents, enjoy the pictures below and celebrate this amazing mama with us!
IT'S A BOY!!!
A few weeks ago one of our residents found out she is going to have a BOY!! We kept it a secret from the rest of the house and we did a gender reveal for her. It was a blast to put together, and we are so glad we got to celebrate with her. We are so excited for this mama and her precious boy.

Baby Bath Time!
On a cold rainy Washington day there is nothing more cheery and adorable than baby bath time! In the kitchen sink overlooking our cute little farm, one of our lovely mamas is giving her little one a bath <3 so precious and peaceful. We are always so proud of how our residents have grown in to amazing mothers to their littles! These precious bonding moments are part of why we do what we do! Enjoy this peek into our daily life:
